I’m tired of working at a store where you’re considered dumb if you’re somewhat smart (…exactly.) and you’re strange if you don’t party all the time and if you don’t smoke or do drugs and if you don’t have any tattoos/weird piercings and you’re actually going to a good college and have ~ambitions~.
“To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket, safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. To love is to be vulnerable.”—C.S. Lewis
Have you ever thought of taking pictures for weddings and such as a quick side job?
I have! I definitely wouldn’t mind it.
I’ve shot one wedding before, actually, and I enjoyed it. I did it for free, though, since it was my first time shooting a wedding and the bride and groom were my friends. I don’t think I’d ever shoot another one for free though, haha. I didn’t realize how much post-processing work there would be to do.
